Dong Lei, assistant professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems, College of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University, mainly focuses on urbanology and spatio-temporal big data analysis.

His research interests include the theoretical and applied issues of human mobility and scaling laws in urban complex systems. In recent years, he has published more than twenty papers in journals such as Nature, Nature Communications, and PNAS.
